Canadian Profession

I am a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) working in Mississauga, Canada. Currently, my interests lie in integrating occupational health and safety with quality and environmental management systems.  In particular, I am exploring the insights of an integrated management system such as the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS 18001) that combines occupational health and safety, ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) systems together.

This integration makes a good sense as it not only ensures the health and safety of the workforce in a given workplace, but also the higher than expected standard of quality of the products as well as the effective attempts in minimizing the environmental impacts of the activities of a given entity.
